Local artist Ahmed Muto alias Badman School Fees who was abducted on Saturday afternoon while conducting an interview at Bukedde TV has been charged for defaming rival singer Gravity Omutujju.
According to the deputy Kampala Metropolitan Police spokesperson, Mr. Luke Owoyesigire, a complaint of defamation against Badman School Fees was reported at Katwe Police Station by Gravity Omutujju.
The good news at the moment is that the musician was later released on Police bond after recording a statement at the station pending ongoing inquiries.
However, Mr. Luke Owoyesigire declined to make any remarks on the manner in which the artist was arrested when pressed hard by journalists.
He only reasoned that if Badman School Fees’ arrest involved uncouth behavior, the artiste should file a separate case and it will be investigated accordingly.
It should be remembered that Badman School Fees was grabbed by eight armed officers dressed casually and whisked away to a location that none of his colleagues knew about.
