Da Nu Eagles singer and proprietor Irene Namatovu has run to the defense of her husband Geoffrey Lutaaya over 200 million shillings that was meant for musicians’ Sacco.

Her defense comes after news spread that Mr. Geoffrey Lutaaya received 200 million shillings from the President’s office on behalf of Ugandan artists.

She explains that Lutaaya received the money not on his own behalf but on behalf of the artists’ Sacco because he was its chairman.

She was shocked when she learned that some people were spreading false information, accusing her husband of having bagged the 200M meant for artists something that she has come out to clear.

Meanwhile, the good news is that the artists’ Sacco project will be receiving more money from the president’s office as agreed upon in the meeting when some artists met with Hon. Haruna Kasolo.
