During an interview in January, NTV Uganda’s Crysto Panda broke down and cried on live television as he narrated what a hustle it was for him to afford education. He finally graduated today!

Herbert Kityamuweesi a.k.a Crysto Panda is one of the top media personalities in Uganda today. He has gathered such a following, of mostly youths, for his outstanding presenting skills on NTV Uganda’s T-Nation.

For two years, he has been pursuing a diploma in Journalism and Media Studies at Datamine Technical Business School and he is among those that graduated today morning.

In an exclusive chat with this website, Crysto Panda urged fellow youths to stop looking for excuses for missing out on education because even himself made it from scratch.

Never ever blame your parents for not studying. That is your problem because I took myself back to school and I paid my own tuition. It’s not your problem to be born in a poor family but it will be your problem to die poor.

Everybody should make it a point to study and graduate because at the end of the day you need to achieve it. I just want to inspire the youths with this. Thank you.
