Rapper Patrick Ssenyonjo, popularly known as Fresh Kid, is confident that he can win the Best International Music Video in America’s Carolina Music Video Awards (CMVAs).
While speaking in an interview, the sensational seven-year-old rapper showed no signs of fear when questioned whether he is intimidated by his first international awards nomination.
The Bambi singer replied with vigor saying he is not intimidated at all by his first nomination.
He then hinted that he is so optimistic about emerging as the winner of the category in which he was nominated.
Am confident about winning the best International music video award in the America Carolina music video awards. I don’t fear anybody in my category as far as am concerned.Fresh Kid
He, however, went on and urged his fans to vote for him overwhelmingly so that he can bring it home and make Uganda proud.
The other Ugandans that got a nomination in the awards include Feffe Bussi for his song ‘Yes, No’, Lydia Jazmine for ‘You & Me’, and Ykee Benda for ‘Singa’.
The awards are slated to happen on July 20th, 2019 at the NASCAR Hall of Fame High Octane Theater in Charlotte, North Carolina, USA.
Overall winner with the Best Video will have a chance to go and perform at the HOLLYWOOD MUSIC IN MEDIA AWARDS (HHMA) on the same stage with big names like Jayz, Snoop Dogg, Chris Brown, Beyonce etc
