Fresh Kid sets sights onto becoming one of Uganda’s permanent secretaries

The boy has dreams, and big dreams too! Uganda’s youngest rapper Patrick Ssenyonjo a.k.a Fresh Kid dreams of becoming one of Uganda’s permanent secretaries one day.

At seven years old, Fresh Kid is a sensation that is sweeping across Uganda’s entertainment spheres for his exceptional rap talent.

He met the Permanent Secretary Ministry of Gender, Labour and Social Development, Mr. Pius Bigirimana at his office on Thursday and a lot was discussed.

In the meeting were Fresh Kid’s parents Paul Mutabazi and Madrine Namata, his promoter, and manager.

Among the things discussed, a Memorandum of Understanding that stipulates the roles, responsibilities, and interests between the singer and the management was drafted.

The percentage of sharing proceeds from performances, the commitment to continue with school, hours of performances, and resting time were all discussed.

The draft MoU is to be reviewed in the coming days before the official signing takes place.

During the meeting, Fresh Kid had a chat with Mr. Bigirimana in which he expressed his desire to study hard and become a permanent secretary besides his musical career.

This comes days after the rapper was nominated in the Carolina Music Video Awards 2019 slated for July 20th in North Carolina, America.
