The Ugandan music industry never runs out of twists and rants and this time around, it is coming from a celebrated audio producer Diggy Baur.

For several years, you must have heard the name Diggy Baur being mentioned in some of those favorite local songs. He is a certified records producer.

He has worked with some of the big names in the industry including the late AK47, Jose Chameleone, Pallaso, Feffe Bussi, Sheebah, David Lutalo, among others.

The CEO at Sound Cover Records has enjoyed top recognition especially with the fact that he is the brains behind what is still regarded Eddy Kenzo’s biggest song ‘Sitya Loss’, which won Uganda its first BET award.

Well, for all the achievements, experience, and more, the producer is not pleased at all with some of the artistes he has worked with.

He, angrily, took the rants on his social media platforms where he revealed that artists are badly behaved and use producers like used condoms to achieve their success.

He noted that most artistes record songs and fail to pay for the producers’ services yet they go on to gain too much from these songs, only to become richer and leave the producers terribly poor.

Baur interestingly got massive backing from fellow producers who rushed to the comment section to cheer him up for uttering out his displeasure.

Does he have a point? Is this the best way to go about this? We’ll leave it to you but the producers are not happy at all.
