NTV Uganda’s Josephine Karungi is set to host the ‘Diamond Honorees’ – an event aimed at recognizing exceptional women who are making a difference in Uganda.

The event slated for 24th May at Kampala Serena Hotel is the first edition of more to come aimed at rewarding outstanding women with long term goals of inspiring young girls.

Dr. Assumpta Nagenda Musana the first female PhD holder in Uganda, Assia Namusoke Mbajja the founder of PINA Uganda, Olivia Namutebi the founder of Albinism Umbrella Uganda, Sarah Kizza Nsigaye of Native Travel Festival, Ruth Ndyabahika the founder of Grace Villa, among others are some of the honorees.

The event is organised by the Diamond Honorees Initiative and the Nile Diaspora International.
