Quiin Abenakyo has been one of the hottest topics in Uganda since being crowned Miss Africa Universe last year. Her reign as Miss Uganda is closing anytime soon as the pageant looks for another queen.

Quiin Abenakyo made Uganda proud when she made it to the top five contestants of the Miss World 2018 pageant.

She has since become an ambassador of different organisations, using her beauty, brains, and influence to inspire several people within and outside Uganda.

As it is the norm, the Miss Uganda committee is now moving on to find the next beauty queen to fill Abenakyo’s shoes this year.

The pageant organizer Brenda Nanyonjo announced that preparations to find the next Miss Uganda are underway during a press conference on Thursday at Sheraton Hotel Kampala.

Miss Uganda has returned and the search is opening on Monday. If you have what it takes, pick up forms and register. Unlike the previous year, we are to sieve two regional competitors in one day to beat time.

It was also revealed that due to her exceptional work and representation in last year’s pageant, renown socialite Zari Hassan will be returning as a patron and judge this year.

The finalists from each region are to be taken to a boot camp on 6th July and the grand finale is set for the 27th of the same month.
