It is seven years down the road and Shanitah Namuyimba, a.k.a Bad Black, is still displeased with Catherine Bamugemereire’s ruling when she sentenced the socialite to prison over fraud.

Acting as the Judge at the Anti-Corruption court in July 2012, Bamugemereire accorded Bad Black up to four years after finding her guilty of fraud.

The case, which also involved fellow socialite and lover Meddie Ssentongo, pinned Bad Black of embezzling over USD 3.9m from a company she jointly owned with her ex-lover David Greenhalgh.

Meddie Ssentongo was lucky enough to walk away with 18 months of imprisonment over the case but Bad Black served the most having been the mastermind of the fraud.

She served her sentence and was released in March 2016 after serving four years at Luzira prison.

The mother of three has never gotten over the fact that her sentence happened just one month after giving birth to her daughter. She has failed to understand how a judge would send a woman in her condition to jail.
