Joel Sebunjo celebrates Africanism as he pays tribute to the great African liberators, leaders, and icons in his new song titled ‘Independance’. Watch the video here first:

Joel Sebunjo is one of the most recognized folk music artistes allover the world. His talent has seen him perform at several global stages and win numerous awards as well as international recognition.

The multi-instrumentalist and Kora maestro depicts his gratitude to the compatriots in Africa who sacrificed the most to ensure Africans’ freedom.

He dedicates it to the likes of Thomas Sankara, Julius Nyerere, Steve Biko, Samora Machel, Leopold Senghor, Felix Boigny and all other great individuals whose thoughts and actions were geared towards to good cause of Africa emancipation and liberty of the people.

What you cannot miss surely in the song is the unique sound that he has mastered with the instrument that has made his known allover the world – his Kora.
