If you were hopeful for a comeback by the self-proclaimed Queen fi di dancehall, Queen Bella, you might have to wait a little bit longer because it seems the goal posts have shifted – just for a moment though.

Queen Bella is, without doubt, one of the legendary artistes in Uganda’s music industry. In the dancehall genre, she was once queen and that’s a crown she wants back so bad.

In April, the songstress who has been away for a while working abroad revealed that she was back in town to concentrate on her life and make a comeback in the music industry.

Queen Bella and her new lover Rich Trumpeter

Her plan seemed really well laid-out after she made a couple of media tours, visiting several radio and TV stations as she promoted her new song titled ‘Kiribubi’.

Honestly speaking, she still has the talent but the Ugandan music industry is one that moves on so easily and it will take more than just a hit song for her to comeback to her spot as the dancehall queen. That in itself is a story for another day.

Midway into her mission of a comeback, Bella must have lost focus already. She was seen drinking herself silly as she gyrated to some dancehall music, with drinks in her hands, shouting on top of her voice.

The video shows her in company of two other men – one of whom is her new lover identified as Rich Trumpeter – on a night out as she enjoys herself to the fullest.

Has it gotten to her mind already? Has she admitted the comeback will never be successful like she earlier anticipated? Or was she celebrating a major deal that will see her come back to the top?

Many questions to be asked and less answers. We really hope it is not just another case of one artiste wasting her life away after the depression that comes with frustration of failing to release a hit song.
