Ugandan-born singer, songwriter and producer Sarah Tshila is all-smiles after she landed a performance gig at North America’s Musikfest show.
The festival that is scheduled to take place on the 11th August 2019, at IBEW Local 375 Volksplatz, was voted as the Best Festival in North America according to the USA TODAY readers’ poll.
The 36-year-old singer recorded and self-produced her first music album titled Sipping From The Nile in 2006 which gained her recognition from music fans around the world.
She has toured and performed her music worldwide at festivals in Africa, Europe, and the United States, including the Kennedy Center Millennium Stage in Washington, D.C.
In December 2018, Tshila released her album World in Crisis which addresses the social and political challenges the world faces, especially from an African woman’s perspective.
Musikfest is a non-profit arts organization founded to “celebrate arts and culture” in the Lehigh Valley and beyond.
