Having failed on his first attempt, former Liverpool FC forward El Hadji Ousseynou Diouf is set to visit Uganda courtesy of BET Award winner Eddy Kenzo.

On 4th January 2019, Eddy Kenzo held his ‘Ten Years Of Eddy Kenzo’ concert to celebrate an achievement as he made ten years in the music industry.

Some of the invited guests at the concert was El Hadji Diouf who failed to turn up due to other commitments regarding the presidential elections in Senegal.

The two appeared in a video in which they cleared the air about what happened the last time the footballer failed to turn up. He also promised to come to the Pearl Of Africa sooner than later.

Kenzo also took it upon himself to let Diouf know how much he is loved by Ugandans and how they cannot wait to receive him when he finally finds time off his busy schedule.

Uganda, I am so sorry for what happened last time because of the presidential elections. But wait for me. I am not coming back soon, I’m coming back earlier to help with the new generation in Uganda.

Eddy Kenzo is in Dakar, Senegal to perform at a concert dubbed 1st African Summit geared towards creating awareness on Female Genital Mutilations and Child Marriages. The two-day event is happening at King Fahd Hotel starting tonight.

We hope Diouf really makes it this time around. Thanks to Kenzo!
