Soon and very soon, we are going to be jamming to ‘Shake Your Body’ – a song by Uganda’s Navio and Geosteady featuring top Swedish rapper DeeWone.

Navio, real name Daniel Lubwama Kigozi, is one of the godfathers of Hip-hop music in Uganda and one of the most respected rappers on the African continent. He has worked with top global acts including R.Kelly, Keith Sweat, Fefe Dobson, etc.

His music style has garnered him various fans and following across the globe. His songs are major favorites making him a highly rated artiste back home in the +256.

Geosteady, real name George William Kigozi, is loved for his vocals and songwriting skills. He adds his soft melodies to the song with a Chorus sang in Luganda. He is upbeat about the collaboration and how it opens up to a different market for his own art and brand.

DeeWone on the other hand is a rapper, producer, songwriter and mastering engineer. He has performed at some big stages including opening for American rapper Fabolous.

He is signed to Audio Mine Music (USA) and Could B Records/Entertainment (USA), the latter being a licensing company. One of his instrumental tracks was also placed in the popular reality show America’s Next Top Model.

‘Shake Your Body’ will be premiering on the top television stations in Europe on July 1st 2019 and it precedes a series of performances by the the artistes across Europe before the end of this year.

Speaking to this website, Navio said that he likes the sound on the song and is happy to be part of the project since it bridges two continents; Africa and Europe, the beats being Afro-beat inspired.

The Klear Kut CEO is currently on a music tour in the USA where he has performed with Micheal Frantu – a top rock and soul artiste – at several big venues.

We shall keep you updated when it finally drops. Fingers crossed!
