Isn’t Sheilah Gashumba one lucky woman? Okay, we’ll rephrase, isn’t she one blessed ‘girl’? She has never lacked what to wear, eat, spend, and now it seems she can have a job anywhere she wishes.

At 23 years old, Sheilah Gashumba has worked at the now defunct WBS TV, NTV Uganda, and now switches roles after landing her first radio gig at Kampala-based XFM.

Close to six months since her resignation from NTV The Beat show, the socialite is set to replace Charlie Denzel Mwiyeretsi at XFM where she will covering the morning shows.

This comes after Charlie Denzel flew out of the country en-route to Lagos, Nigeria where he will be part of the Big Brother Naija reality television show which is being launched tonight.

Sheilah Gashumba is now faced with a new challenge but it is one which she is willing to learn from and maybe master depending on how this first week goes.

Does she have what it takes to become one of the biggest radio personalities in the country? We can trust time to help us answer that. We wish her well!
