Celebrated radio host – and probably the most controversial TV personality a few years ago – Mary Luswata will is no longer part of Kansanga-based Galaxy FM after announcing her resignation a fortnight ago.

Mary Luswata was a co-host of the ‘The Unscripted Evening Rush’ show together with comedian-turned-musician Little Joe Mpologoma and former Miss Uganda runner-up Prim Asiimwe.

Luswata’s exit left several speculations with questions of who was set to replace her. The radio’s management however had a plan already as they anticipated her exit.

Confirmed news reaching us indicates that the Station’s Promotions Manager and former host of the mid-morning show ‘Mid Morning Tukoone’ DJ Nimrod, will now join the Evening Rush Crew.

Programs Director Mariat Candy Nasasira revealed the information to this website saying:

Morning Saga and Evening Rush are prime time shows and they are first priority of programming. We think Nimrod will be a great addition. He is a great radio personality who is loved by many.
