In January 2018, C.E.O of Big Talent Entertainment Edrisa Musuuza, famously known as Eddy Kenzo, signed Pia Pounds (real name Tracy Kirabo) to his record label after she showed flare in her early music career.
It has been a year and a half since Pia signed to one of the most successful Ugandan record labels in the past four years but what has it added to her career in the music industry.
While appearing on Record TV, the beautiful songstress was asked about what happens in the Big Talent record label and how much she has achieved since joining.
Among the things she revealed about the Makindye-based music label were the systems of operation and how all members in the label have supported her, working together as a unit to ensure her success.
She revealed that despite the support rendered, she also has been on her toes trying to make ends meet because it’s through her zeal to work that others are motivated to add a brick to the effort.
Pia further stated that she does not sit and wait for everything to be done for her because Big Talent is a ghetto record label and not like the other international record labels which cater for everything in an artiste’s life.
We’re not in Atlanta Records here. We are in a ghetto label, this label works so hard to make sure that people eat. Eddy Kenzo handles a lot. He doesn’t handle just musicians. He has a football team too.Pia Pounds
She further revealed that she has a personal manager, a one Kuseim, who handles 90% of her work. Kuseim is also a producer at the Big Talent-based Banq Records.
