Ugandan rapper Fresh Kid wins first award in the American-based CMVAs

In May, we reported how trending seven-year-old rapper Patrick Ssenyonjo a.k.a Fresh Kid was in the driving seat after bagging his very first nomination in the Carolina Music Video Awards.

The ‘Bambi’ singer came out victorious, winning the Best International Music Video award at the awards that happened yesterday at the NASCAR Hall of Fame High Octane Theater in Charlotte, North Carolina.

The elated singer took to his social media platforms to announce the big news as he also used the opportunity to thank the people who have helped him achieve his dream.

God is Great. I have been announced as the winner of BEST INTERNATIONAL MUSIC VIDEO in the CAROLINA MUSIC VIDEO AWARDS for my BAMBI song. I dedicate this Award to: My Family, De Texas Entertainment, Fans (both in UG & Worldwide), TV & Radio Presenters, Magazines, Newspapers.
