Pastor Ssempa opens up on why he was rejected in Priesthood

While growing up, outspoken and renown city pastor Martin Ssempa had all the desires and hopes of becoming a Priest. Unfortunately, he was denied the chance to become one.

He does not regret being denied the opportunity to follow and achieving his dream however. Shockingly, or not, he rather just rejoices for what he has turned out to become.

During an interview, Pastor Ssempa explained that he was rejected by Seminaries because he was born of non-married parents. He also revealed that he could not live a life of forced celibacy.

Celibacy is a state of abstaining from marriage and sexual relations. His point of view did not go down well with some staunch Catholic believers as he was pinned to the wall to strongly defend his statements.

Nonetheless, he revealed that he is a happy man and a Pastor who can serve God in a healthy relationship with his lovely wife.
