Kyadondo East constituency Member of Parliament Hon. Robert Kyagulanyi Sentamu, famously known as Bobi Wine, reveals that Kampala is both a blessing and a lesson in his life.
Yesterday, Bobi Wine’s firstborn son Solomon Kampala Nyanzi celebrated his fourteenth birthday. In the 14 years that he has lived, Kampala has learned so much from his celebrity father but so has the old man from his son.
Bobi wrote a special message for his son and he revealed that he came into his life as a blessing and a lesson that changed his life forever.
Happy 14th birthday son. You came to my life both as a blessing and as a lesson and indeed life has never been the same again. The more you grow up is the more I feel the responsibility to be a perfect example and role model to you, well knowing that every generation has a duty to prepare for the next generation.

In May 2016, during an interview with a local journal, Bobi Wine revealed that Solomon was named Kampala because he happened to be born in a transition period of his life.
At the time I had him, he was the greatest meaning to me in the world especially in the city Kampala. My whole life was revolving around him and the day I had him was the day a huge part of my brain changed.
