In a twist of events, Joseph Mayanja a.k.a Chameleone has been left hanging in space after Harmonize dropped him off their collaboration song titled ‘Inabana’ and replaced him with Eddy Kenzo.

In July, we reported how Kenzo and the B2C Entertainment trio had traveled to Tanzania to record new music in collaboration with a couple of artistes there including WCB’s Harmonize.

Little did we know that part of the Tanzanian singer’s plans involved ditching his collaboration with Jose Chameleone titled ‘Inabana’ and replacing the Leone Island singer with the Big Talent Ent. CEO Eddy Kenzo.

Jose Chameleone

Chameleone has always wanted to do a collabo with Harmonize and that goal was achieved in 2018. They recorded the song titled ‘Inabana’ and it was left in studio, only awaiting mastering and completion.

Somehow, it was leaked two weeks ago by a yet to be identified person and it has been making rounds online. To everybody’s surprise however, both artistes didn’t show interest in promoting the song at all. It was ignored.

Today, Harmonize unleashed the big news revealing how he was set to drop his collabo with Eddy Kenzo titled ‘Inabana’ (produced by Bonga).

We had a chance of listening to the new song before it is officially released and it sounds really similar to the one Harmonize recorded with Chameleone.

On inquiring why the Tanzanian decided to replace Chameleone with Kenzo, we found out that the Ugandan music legend declined to abide by Harmonize’s music promotion plan in which he had requested to have the song extensively promoted on Chameleone’s social media platforms.

Chameleone is believed to have distanced himself from promoting the song because the demands from the Wasafi Classic Baby camp were beyond his imagination. He also felt undermined by a younger artiste and hence trashed the song.

Did Harmonize then do the right thing of replacing him with Kenzo? Well, they have worked together on a song before titled ‘Pull Up‘ and it was a major banger allover East Africa in 2018. Perhaps Kenzo has earned the trust and he is reaping the benefits.

We shall let you listen to the new song once it’s officially released. Keep right here for more information.
