In June, Paul Mutabazi a.k.a Fresh Daddy was criticized of trying to deny his son Fresh Kid a chance to travel and perform at a show in Dubai because he also wanted to be on that trip.
A scuffle that lasted for close to a month between the show promoter, Fresh Kid’s management, and Fresh Daddy got many critics thinking that the 40-year-old didn’t wish the best for his son.
He bowed to pressure, eventually letting Fresh Kid travel with his manager Francis Kamoga and they brought the roof down with a good performance at a cultural event.
On the same day that Fresh Kid performed in Dubai, Fresh Daddy was back home premiering a new song titled Mazike. He had suddenly realized that he had to get his hands to work in order to enjoy the life that his son had introduced to him.
Fast forward, Fresh Daddy has enjoyed fame for whatever reason. His song Mazike trended for a while and he has performed on some big stages, been interviewed on huge media platforms and earned some big cash.
His next plan now is to have his passport stamped and he knows who can help him achieve that – his son.
While being interviewed on Spark TV, the singer called upon all promoters abroad to book shows for him to perform at. He also emphasized that whoever books Fresh Kid for a performance abroad must take him along.
He notes that the promoters who want his son to perform won’t have a choice but to oblige to his request since he is the one to sign on Fresh Kid’s documents before he is allowed to travel anywhere.
I am the one to sign for them to go. I know that on the next tour (abroad), I will go with them. I didn’t get my passport to stay home, I have to travel. I request the promoters that when you send invitations make sure that Fresh Daddy is there.Fresh Daddy while speaking to Spark TV
