Despite singer Eddy Kenzo’s break up news with his baby mama – Rema Namakula – dominating the internet, the singer was yet again recognized in a very special way.

Eddy Kenzo hit another milestone after he was named by the United States Congress as the Cultural Ambassador at the West Indian American Day Carnival in Brooklyn, New York.

The 2019 edition marked the 52nd annual celebrations of the colorful and well-organized event that celebrates the Caribbean community.

The event usually attracts more than a million revelers to hear the sounds of Reggae and Calypso music. They even get a chance to taste a variety of freshly cooked delicacies as well as experience the city’s diversity.
