Five months ago singer Gen. Mega Dee, born Amos Kigenyi, declared how he was ready to contest for the Head of UNAA seat – a body that unites and governs all Ugandan citizens living in the diaspora (America).

The good news reaching our desk is that the Inna Di Dance hitmaker emerged as the winner of the race beating Tracy Nalwadda and Abu-Baker Mulumba Ssalongo to the seat.

The jubilant Gen. Mega Dee who is currently the representative of UNAA for a period of two years wasted no time as he took to his socials to celebrate with fans upon his new achievement.

Singer Gen. Mega Dee

Dear my esteemed supporters of South Pacific 2, the good Lord has delivered his promise to us. I am officially your humble representative in our mighty UNAA 2019-2021.

Gen. Mega Dee

He went on to assure his supporters that he is ready to unite and support their community as his number one agenda like he pledged earlier on during his campaigns.

We have fought a tough battle with dignity and respect, and we shall continue to be the same while we serve communities through Unity, Mobilizations, Career Guidance, and Incorruptible stand. As your Representative I pledged to unite and support our community and this is our number one agenda.

He added

He concluded by calling upon his opponents to stay united and serve the public despite the outcomes of the elections.

Congratulations Gen. Mega Dee!
