2019 will be remembered as the year in which Uganda witnessed several youngsters arising in the entertainment industry and expressing their vast talents.

One of the pioneers that will forever be remembered is Patrick Ssenyonjo a.k.a Fresh Kid. Since his exposure, he has been the topic on everyone’s lips and for a while, he was the most talked about singer in the industry.

With the fame achieved, Fresh Kid inspired several other age-mates to break into the industry. One of the newest young rappers is 8-year-old Lil Kid Uganda a.k.a Pastor Omurasta.

With more and more rappers coming into the game, the competition is stiff and some have come with the game plan of beefing Fresh Kid so as to easily be recognized.

Lil Kid has, for several weeks, been rumored to be silently beefing Fresh Kid. The beef is said to have been brewed at the Kawempe-based Badman Records studio where both rappers record their music.

The ‘Bali Bali’ rapper, while speaking to us, revealed that there is no beef whatsoever between him and Fresh Kid. For a fact, he notes that they are friends and they might even surprise their fans with a collaboration.

Me and Fresh Kid have no beef, we are friends and if things go well, we might release a collabo together. I don’t even know why people say we beef each-other.

The rap industry, even locally, has been built around beef and it seems like the new crop of talent is setting sights towards changing that mode of operation.
