Since June, the House Of Prayer Ministries Pastor Aloysius Bugingo has come under fire for humiliating his wife Teddy Naluswa and dumping her alongside their children to settle with another woman, Susan Makula.
The heat had calmed down after the two estranged lovers met in court and decided to settle their differences away from the media’s watch until on Tuesday when Teddy appeared on NBS TV claiming that she has been abandoned yet again.
Teddy revealed that the renown pastor stopped providing fatherly and financial support to his children. She further released recorded audios which indicated that Bugingo and his bouncers beat the children when they went to his office to ask for school fees.
In a presser organised at his office on Wednesday afternoon, Pastor Bugingo denied the allegations saying he has never had bouncers as his wife indicates.
He dared her to produce the evidence, of the kids being beaten at his office, to Hon. Florence Nakiwala Kiyingi – the Minister of State for Youth and Children Affairs.
He further noted that the motive behind Teddy’s claims is still unknown because they had agreed to keep matters regarding their family away from the media when they met at the Magistrates court in Kajansi a few months ago.
Bugingo says that Teddy has never had a job that pays so well for her to take good care of their children and that has been his role since they were young children.
Taking care of my children is part of my blessings. I have looked after my own daughter, Doreen Gift my firstborn, and paid all her school fees till she graduated at Makerere University as a Telecom Engineer. She is 28 years old and has two kids whose fathers I don’t even know. She is also part of the children being framed that they need support from me.Pastor Bugingo while speaking at the organised press conference
The pastor therefore denies all allegations and decries Teddy’s motives behind these claims because he even pays Shs 400k every week to take care of the family in the home which he left four years ago.
