One more of Jose Chameleone’s dreams has been finally achieved after the legendary Afrigo Band revealed that he is the only artiste featured on their new music album.

Joseph ‘Chameleone’ Mayanja has often expressed his gratitude towards the Afrigo Band members as part of his inspiration and the people who gave him guidance as a young artiste growing into the industry.

The music industry in Uganda, from decades ago, has been shaped around a few key players inclusive of Jose Chameleone and Afrigo Band, both playing an integral role in its evolution from foreign domination.

Afrigo Band has been around for over 40 years while Chameleone has lasted just over two decades. For the 20 years Chameleone has survived musically, Afrigo have not released an album and their glory has been so much marinated in their former masterpieces. Their most recent release, a single, dropped ten years ago.
