Team Good Music CEO Pius Mayanja a.k.a Pallaso has cautioned Ugandan music fans and lovers to embrace local products first before heaping praise on international artists.

Pallaso who is signed to Karma Ivien Management made the statement through a Facebook live as he was clapping back at critics who always downplay Ugandan music.

While airing his live feed, the Inama singer revealed that the reason as to why our neighboring countries have so far surpassed us musically is that they appreciate their local music and then sell it to us.

He went on to explain the reason as to why our music has failed to cut across is because the current generation of fans lives a fake life that only appreciates and hails international musicians.

Pallaso who seemed to have lost his cool then added that he is here to wake up all those who are living fake lives before noting that it’s the only reason why he had stopped composing inspiration music like ‘Soma
