The Ugandan entertainment industry has been blessed with several tycoons who have dominated showbiz for their luxurious lifestyles and lavish spending each time they hit social gatherings.
The latest name on the list of tycoons in Uganda is from an unfamiliar source, in comparison to the ones that came before. Her name is Achai Wiir, a South Sudanese national making big strides in Uganda.
Achai Wiir first rose to fame last year when she gifted Leone Island singer Joseph Mayanja a.k.a Jose Chameleone with a brand new car – a Toyota Landcruiser V8 – for his exceptional talent.

That act of generosity has garnered her several fans and followers since and she has gained audience mostly amongst her country-mates living in Uganda.
She is back in the news and again, its because of her giving heart. On Wednesday night, during a Sudanese Ball organized at Wonder World in Kansanga, Achai Wiir gifted the Sudanese community with cars.
Two brand new cars, including a Toyota Harrier, were given out to exemplary Sudanese who have promoted and exercised unity in their communities.
A visually impaired singer, Jacob Gai, was one of the lucky people to receive a gift of a brand new car which was awarded to help him spread more messages of unity and love through his art.
Another Afro-beat singer, King Forest, walked away with the other car for what was termed as a ‘non-segregative behavior’. Take a look at some of the photos from the ball:
