If you want to compete musically, it should be fair play – Bobi to Sevo

Over the past weekend, while at Kololo Airstrip, His Excellence Gen. Yoweri Kaguta Museveni was officially registered and confirmed as a member of the Uganda Musicians Association (UMA) with the stage name ‘Sevo’.

The announcement was made after he reportedly cleared all the requirements needed for an artist to become a member of the association which included paying Shs 50K and his clearance receipt was shown to the media.

The Kyadondo East lawmaker Robert Kyagulanyi a.k.a Bobi Wine’s ‘Osobala Ku Independence‘ concert was blocked from taking place at his One Love Beach in Busaabala and he has called for fair play.

The 2021 Presidential hopeful called for fair play via his socials as he dared the first citizen to come out publicly and compete with him musically if he feels like taking him on.

Recently, President Museveni went ahead to register himself as a musician in another futile attempt to counter Bobi Wine. If he wants to compete with us musically, it should be fair play. Let the population decide who they want to listen to.

However, as music fans, you can start suggesting your favorite venues where this should take place because even Namboole Stadium seems too small for this one.
