Over and over again, several local celebrities have raised their complaints over the increased loss of property and valuables while on the Kenya Airways (KQ) flights.

In June 2018, Anne Kansiime raised complaints after her luggage containing valuables was robbed despite being marked before boarding the KQ flight en-route Nairobi where she had gone for the East Africa Comedy Show.

In August the same year, local media personality Tinah Tiese labeled her flight to Nairobi aboard KQ as her ‘worst travel experience by far’ claiming that she saw all sorts of unprofessional conduct that day.

Now, there’s yet another case against the same airline as top African socialite and Influencer Zari Hassan adds her voice to the many who have had experiences to forget on the KQ flights.

While traveling to Uganda en-route Kenya Airways, Zari claims that she had to book the last minute fight on Monday which went for $2440 (UGX 9M) because she had to be in Uganda for a meeting on Tuesday morning.

Even having paid all that much, her luggage was not taken care of by the handlers and four of her expensive perfumes that were sent to her from Dubai were stolen from her luggage.

An expensive suit that she was supposed to wear to the meeting was also taken but the mother of five insists that touching her perfumes which were sent as gifts on her birthday is not something she is willing to let go of easily.

She says that it’s not the first time her valuables are being robbed but she has always kept it on the low, being too loyal to the brand until it has finally reached the limit.

She has now provided an ultimatum to the flight company to find her belongings and return them to her on the flight return date before her relationship with KQ ends in peace.

So disappointed in Kenya Airlines. I’ve been loyal, but you always do me wrong. The other times I’ve ignored, but not today. All my perfumes I received as gifts from my friends in Dubai just disappeared. What am I supposed to wear for my meeting?

Let’s not ignore the fact that your flights are always delayed and no explanation is given to passengers, still I ignored. I’ve never been on a KQ flight that’s on time. Shame on you.

Official Kenya Airways, you have my return date. Better make sure someone finds me in the lounge and returns what belongs to me. I didn’t travel for free, you set me back $2440, now I want what’s mine back. Periodt! And we will end this relationship in peace.
