In September, we reported about how Deejay Mark – a popular disk jockey around town and on NBS TV – almost met his creator after being battered by thugs who got away with his valuables.

Photos of the NBS TV HitMaker show deejay Mark Kiyingi appeared allover social media showing him with a bruised face whilst receiving treatment in a hospital.

Several of his close friends and relatives feared for the worst because of the situation in which he appeared to be; unable to speak, eat or drink, for a couple days.

DJ Mark sustained serious head injuries after thugs beat him severely while on his way back home after a night out. He finally appeared on set on NBS TV on Saturday where he revealed that he is recovering well.

I feel much better now and ready for the hustle. All I can remember is that I was attacked by strange faces while I was still in my car after reaching home. The fact that we were in a blackout with no power, they used the opportunity to open the driver’s door where I was seated and caught me unaware, hitting me with a concrete stone.

They took my phone and wallet. Luckily, I had left my DJ gadgets at work. I decided to move on since I couldn’t tell who my assailants were because I have no beef with anyone.

That’s some good news and we hope he can fully recover and bless us with more of his deejay skills. Get well soon Mark!
