Monday evening saw famous Ugandan singer Edrisa Musuuza a.k.a Eddy Kenzo make his way to the State House in Entebbe on an organized visit to the president Yoweri Kaguta Museveni.

The past period of over a month has seen the Big Talent Ent. CEO get to the extremes of his emotions after the Sheikh Nuuhu Muzaata saga. He was thinking of suicide at some point, basing on his live videos.

Well, it took a lot of support and backing from his fans plus a major win at the AEAUSA awards to have Kenzo return to the country amidst a warm welcome as mammoth crowds picked him from the airport last week.

Part of the topics Kenzo pointed out to having depressed him for a while is that despite his hardwork and investments to achieve, and representing the nation overseas, he has never been rewarded by the government.

The hashtag #Weyayu was formulated and it seems to have gotten to the Head Of State who eventually invited Kenzo to the State House. The singer revealed the good news last evening.

In the meeting, several issues were talked about including the huge potential and opportunities available in the arts industry which the president promised to support.

It was a warm and a fruitful discussion about my individual achievements but also most importantly about the huge potential and opportunities available in the arts industry which he pledged to give full government support.
