A city mechanic at Kasim Auto Spare parts has raised a complaint accusing singer Jose Chameleone of failing to clear a debt of Shs11 million after repairing his Escalade.
The mechanic explained that it’s now over three months since he repaired Chameleone’s Escalade but the singer has never cleared the bills despite being contacted about the matter.
He went on to narrate how he was convinced by Moses Kalule of the Ebonies to allow Chameleone pick his car. The singer left him a Subaru as a means of payment if the singer fails to clear his debt.
The mechanic also stressed how the Subaru is in a very poor condition, lacks an engine and even if sold, it can’t foot the Shs 11 million debt.
He added that he has been tossed for quite a very long period of time whilst demanding the money as all the persons he has been directed to collect the money from are just dodging him and blocking his phone number.
When Chameleone’s manager Mutima was asked about the said car he replied that he was aware of it but declined giving further comments.
