Ever since singer Mark Bugembe a.k.a Buchaman was appointed as the president’s envoy on ghetto affairs, he has turned out to be the hot topic across all streets around town.

Straightforward, Buchaman’s former landlord has come out accusing him of defaulting rent accruing to Shs 5.4m since 2011.

Through an interview, the landlord explained how Buchaman accumulated the rent arrears saying he spent six months in his house that was costing him Shs. 600k a month without paying rent plus using water and electricity on a daily basis.

At first, when Buchaman had just started renting my house everything was okay and always paid rent on time before he was fired from Firebase because Bobi Wine could at times come and they chill around here. But life became tough for him and the wife when he was kicked out of Firebase.

The landlord also added how he filed the case at police where he got an arrest warrant to arrest Buchaman but returned when the former Firebase Crew vice president had fled the home.
