Uganda’s contestant at the 59th Miss International beauty pageant Evelyn Namatovu Kironde has emerged as the 2nd-runner up at the concluded event.

Ms. Namatovu Kironde was also named as the winner of the best swimsuit wear at the event that was held in Tokyo, Japan at the Dome City Hall.

The contest was won by Sireethon Leeramwat, the first-ever winner from Thailand while the First runners-up title went to Mexico’s Andrea Toscano.

Miss International beauty pageant is the fourth highly recognized beauty contest in the world, along with Miss World, Miss Universe, and Miss Earth.

The pageant that is Japan-based was first held in 1960 and it is organized by the International Culture Association.
