Lord Fred Sebatta chocking on Shs260m debt from moneylenders

Legendary Kadongo Kamu singer, Lord Fred Sebatta is chocking on a debt of Shs260m he accumulated while he was seeking medical treatment after he fell critically ill during the festive season of 2018 to February 2019.

During that period, he was rushed to Nairobi for better and improved health services but having noticed that his condition was instead worsening, he was helped by a friend known as Mr. Q. Mutebi who flew him to America for surgery.

The pair struck a deal that after his recovery, he would pay back through his talent by staging shows of his new song titled ‘Before My End’ and make concert tours for the song.

Since he is steadily recovering Sebatta has called upon the government of Uganda, private companies and well-wishers to come to his rescue to help him settle a debt summing to Shs 260m.

The 62-year-old Matendo Guittar Band singer also thanked his other creditors for reaching out to him during his worst moments in life who included Mr. Joseph Ssemango, Mr. Alex Mugisha among others.
