We can keep calm now, MC Kats is employed again and it’s his former foes that have come to his rescue yet again just weeks after losing his weekly gig at Pearl Of Africa Hotel.

MC Kats, real name Edwin Katamba, is smiling to the bank yet again after he agreed terms and signed a Memorandum Of Understanding with Fame Lounge and Restaurant.

That means that the renown city emcee will resume work on Wednesday at Fame Lounge where he is expected to hold his weekly Meet Celebrity Wednesday nights at the Kololo-based hangout.

On September 17th MC Kats had his contract with Fame Lounge terminated following a burst up with the bosses and the staff at the bar who claimed that the emcee showed no respect to them on top of accumulated debts.

He swiftly moved on to Pearl Of Africa hotel but the contract with the hotel was also later terminated on October 30th after both parties settled and agreed that the deal was not beneficial to the hotel.

In a Memorandum Of Understanding accessed by this website, dated 18th November 2019, MC Kats has agreed to return at Fame Lounge and hold his weekly show on top of promoting the event on his social media platforms.

He is also expected to provide celebrities on the nights, hook up partners in terms of advertisements with the bar, push sales within the first quarter, create an outstanding brand name through ADs and ground marketing, among other things.

MC Kats is also expected to clear Fame Lounge of any withstanding claims, judgments, suits, and fees prior to the new contract which is expected to run till 31st December 2019.

We wish him good luck. We hope he lasts the test this time around.
