Rema Namakula and Dr. Hamza Ssebunya’s Kwanjula ceremony will be talked about for several years to come for both the good and bad reasons one of which was how different celebrities were dressed.
One of those biggest talking topics about the function was style and fashion which got some names being attached to different titles including the ‘Best Dressed’ and ‘Worst Dressed’ celebrities.
John Blaq, real name John Kasadha, was named the Worst Dressed Person at the event which had thousands of guests. He appeared donning a dull striped shirt, damaged jeans, and chains hanging around his neck.
For a traditional ceremony of such a magnitude, we honestly believe the title was befitting. He deserved to be called the worst dressed and we have for long been wondering what he was even thinking to appear dressed like that.
It is reported that the ‘Byalagilwa’ singer was even stopped from performing because of his dress code despite being listed as part of the few singers who were expected to perform at the ceremony.
While appearing on an interview with a local website, John Blaq revealed that he actually thought he was dressed smartly for the function.
I failed to get time to wear my Kanzu which I had bought specially for Rema’s ceremony. So I bought a shirt that I could afford and I thought I was really smart but public though otherwise.John Blaq
