American singer Jidenna arrives, to stay in Uganda for a week

For the next seven days, American singer Jidenna will be living in the +256. He arrived in Uganda in the wee hours of Sunday morning ahead of several performances and appearances including the 2019 Abryanz Style and Fashion Awards (ASFAs).

Jidenna Theodore Mobisson was born on 4th May 1985. He is a Nigerian Rapper, Singer, Songwriter and Record producer from Imo State, Nigeria. He is the genius behind; Bambi, Classic Man, Yoga, Long Live The Chief, Boomerang, among several other songs.

He arrived at Entebbe International Airport at about 3PM on Sunday morning. He was welcomed by Abryanz Collections CEO Ahumuza Brian and Talent Africa boss Aly Alibhai plus a couple of journalists.

Jienna has spent weeks in his home country Nigeria. He has also visited a couple of African countries in recent weeks including the neighboring Rwanda where he was amazed by the people and environment there.

It’s Uganda’s turn to host the ‘Bambi’ singer and he is set to spend a week in the country. He is expected to put up a good show at the ASFAs which are slated for 13th December at Kampala Serena Hotel.

Just like Kanye West on his visit to the Pearl of Africa, Jidenna is expected to pay a visit to the Murchison Falls Park for a tour of nature. He is also likely to spend days at the prestigious Chobe Safari Lodges.

According to the ASFAs organizers, Jidenna arrived way ahead of schedule to allow him enough time to rehearse, and tour the beautiful places in Uganda.
