According to her Twitter account, Canada-based Ugandan rapper Keko, real name Jocelyn Tracey, is fuming with claims that she was drugged and raped by yet to identified people.
For a while, Keko has been off the radar on the Ugandan entertainment scene. She has been living in Canada for a couple of years where she fell in love with Videography and Film Directing.
She is back in our faces but this time not for the best of reasons. Through a series of tweets on Tuesday morning, the ‘This Is How We Do It’ rapper revealed how she is struggling with after-effects of rape and assault.
According to the tweets, Keko notes that there are some of her friends who were paid to invite her for a party, spice up her drink and leave her in the hands of rapists.
So apparently, I never thought people can pay people you know to invite you to an event spike your drink and have you raped then tell you a wild story like you are a first time drinker.@KekoTown | Twitter
She further reveals that the rapists beat her unconscious with a rock which left her with a bruised face prior to the atrocious act. She only woke up the next day with her underwear missing.
Next morning I wake up with an almost unrecognizably bursted upper and lower lip like I was in a car accident including 3 chipped teeth. Now I woke up like I was possessed with my pants off me and my underwear missing.@KekoTown
She then immediately visited the hospital where the doctor made a full body examination on her and the medical results confirm her own narration of being battered and raped.
The rapper says that it ruined her graduation ceremony but she has managed to keep it to herself because she was doing her own research and development.
She also reveals that she will not mention the name of the person responsible for her misery and rather only prays that God grants her whatever she was seeking for in agreeing to be part of the act.
We hope she is recovering well and we condemn the people who inflicted such physical and psychological harm on her. We shall keep updating you on her situation. Keep right here.
