On Friday 13th December, we reported about how Congolese Singer, Songwriter, and Performer Fally Ipupa would not be performing at Lugogo Cricket Oval but was expected to perform at another concert in Arua.

According to a statement released by the 243 Events, who were the organizers at the event, Fally Ipupa had missed a flight from Kinshasa and was never gonna make it on time to perform in Kampala on Friday.

The organizers however were working around the clock to make sure that the Congolese would arrive in time to perform at another concert organized in Arua on Sunday 15th December.

Well, many critics pointed out that it would never happen because, according to alleged inside information, the organizers had not fulfilled their side of the booking fees and yet they wanted the singer to perform at two events.

As anticipated, Fally Ipupa did not make a single step in the +256. He did not perform in Arua on Sunday and despite attempts to reach out for information from the organizers, we failed to gather actual information why he failed to turn up.

It is not the first time an international artiste has failed to show up and perform after being booked for a show in Uganda. The likes of Wizkid, Mavado, Chris Martin, among others have had similar situations.
