GNL Zamba – I’ve used drugs before but they didn’t work out for me

Celebrated Luga-Flo storyteller Ernest Nsimbi a.k.a GNL Zamba opened up about drug abuse in the entertainment industry and in the society at large.

Drug abuse is a huge threat to the youths but as GNL explained, the addiction among musicians has rapidly increased. He reasoned that to a bigger extent, it works for the artists’ managers who are not honest to artists they manage when not sober.

The ‘Kikankane’ singer also admitted that he has ever used drugs (Marijuana) due to influence but they weren’t of any positive effect to his life.

He noted that drugs are usually an escape route for many people before going on to add that musicians are just the tip of the iceberg among the people who use drugs in society.

To be honest, I have used drugs before and it was marijuana but I should count myself lucky because I didn’t love the way it made me feel. I took it because some people where encouraging me to but it wasn’t really for me.
