No Ugandan musician, male or female, has released more music projects in 2019 than Veronica Nakiyingi, popularly known as Vinka. Media personality and music critic Kasuku is however not convinced that her music was of top quality.

Commonly known for bashing celebrities and never going by the public opinion on most issues regarding showbiz, music, and the likes; Kasuku, real name Isaac Katende, is not convinced Vinka did enough this year.

At the start of the year, Swangz Avenue songstress Vinka promised to release an audio and video for each month through to 2020. She indeed fulfilled the promise with bonus tracks actually.

Most of the songs received the much required airplay and the fans rewarded her with the support she needed. Vinka also secured herself a deal with Sony Music. What a year it must have been for her!

Not Convinced: Kasuku

Well, it might be one to remember for her but not really the case for Kasuku. The Spark TV presenter revealed that Vinka failed to produce quality music to enable her cross over to the league of the Cindy’s and Sheebah’s of today.

He also notes that Vinka has not gained much from her contract with Sony Music so far as he urged the songstress to wake up and use the opportunity to her needs before the contract expires.

She (Vinka) has produced a number of songs which have no meaning, we refer to it as bogus music. Her music is not far different from that of Lydia Jazmine. She can’t be placed in the same group with those of Cindy, Sheebah and Karole Kasita.
