Ugandan security forces have deported South African musician, Yvonne Chaka Chaka ahead of the Enkuuka Y’Omwaka show she was scheduled to perform at.

In a communication by the Uganda Police, the spokesperson justified the deportation by revealing that the Singer and songwriter had entered Uganda on a visitor’s visa that was cancelled by immigration officials after it emerged that she was set to perform at a music show.

Yvonne Chaka Chaka is well known by Ugandan music lovers for several of her hits including “Thank You Mr. DJ”, “I am Burning Up” and “I cry for freedom”
