Chaka Chaka: I will come back to Uganda and perform

You might need to keep calm if you are a fan of Yvonne Chaka Chaka’s music because she will be returning to perform in the +256 despite Uganda Police confirming that she was deported.

Chaka Chaka was due to perform at the end of year event dubbed Enkuuka Y’omwaka which happens at the Buganda Kingdom palace in Mengo annually.

She however didn’t get the chance to perform for the mammoth crowds that had already gathered at the Lubiri because she was deported from the country via Rwanda.

In a communication by the Uganda Police, the spokesperson justified the deportation, revealing that the Singer and Songwriter had entered Uganda on a Visitor’s Visa which was cancelled by immigration officials after it emerged that she was set to perform at a music show.

There was a moment of confusion as Chaka Chaka, through a video, dismissed reports that she was arrested and deported as earlier confirmed by the Uganda Police spokesperson.
