In a properly planned and filmed video, Ugandan Singer-cum-Politician Joseph Mayanja a.k.a Jose Chameleone praised Eddy Kenzo and Bobi Wine for lifting the Ugandan flag high and snubbed Bebe Cool as he relayed his new year’s message.
Despite having made amends and burying their hatchet in previous years, Bebe Cool and Chameleone could be back to their past beef largely attributed to their political ideologies.
In his new year’s message, Chameleone totally omitted Bebe Cool’s name from his speech as he talked about the artistes who have waved the Ugandan flag high and positively influenced Ugandans internationally and locally.
Chameleone, however, manages to mention Eddy Kenzo and Bobi Wine whom he praises for a job well done in 2019, a year which he regards ‘memorable’ and full of achievements.
We must remember that 2019 has been a very memorable year. A year of achievement, a year of winners. Musically, as artistes, my brother Eddy Kenzo continued to scoop awards internationally. My brother Bobi Wine continued to win internationally. That is the same unison we must together with in 2020.Jose Chameleone
He further talks about how he personally made it a point to announce that he will be bidding for the Kampala Lord Mayoral seat in 2020 and how that came with its own challenges.
He talks about other issues that have happened in the country including disasters caused by weather changes, increased murders, accidents, strikes, unemployment, as he urged Ugandans to work together in the new year to build a better nation.
