As South African music queen Yvonne Chaka Chaka was being deported out of the country, Congolese music legend Kanda Bongo Man was meeting President Yoweri Kaguta Museveni at his farm.

The closure of 2019 will be remembered by most revelers in Uganda who turned up at the Sheraton Gardens to watch a thrilling end of year show headlined by Kanda Bongo Man.

Before he made it to the venue to usher Ugandans into the new year with his performances, Kanda Bongo Man paid a courtesy visit to President Museveni at his farm in Kisozi.

The 65-year-old musician, who visibly seemed happy to meet the Head of State, entertained the president with some of his songs including Muchana, Bolingo, Kolela, among others.

The president really seemed to enjoy the moment too and we are tipped that the meeting was made possible by Balaam Barugahare who was also the organizer of the event at the Sheraton Gardens.
