Drama unfolded once again when revelers who flock the ‘Nkuuka Y’omwaka’ event turned rowdy at round 10:00 p.m demanding Kyadondo East MP Robert Kyagulanyi Ssentamu alias Bobi Wine to perform.
Earlier, South African music legend Yvonne Chaka Chaka was denied the chance to perform at the Buganda Kingdom’s annual event which is organized by Abitex as she was deported for not having a Work Permit.
As those who were not at the event were busy focusing on the deportation of Chaka Chaka, fans who were on ground seemed not to care about that talk since they knew Bobi Wine was slated to perform.
At around 10:00 p.m the show came to a standstill as police took over the stage while flying objects went up in the air as well as loud chants of “We want Bobi, We want Bobi” dominated the venue.
The PA systems were switched off and fans sang Bobi Wine’s songs such ‘Tuliyambala Engule’ as the organizers tried their best to calm down the situation.
