Ugandan Singer, Songwriter and Activist, Lilian Mbabazi holds a new title as Ambassador at the Global Goals World Cup – the first women’s activist football tournament.

The GGWCup is an alternative 5v5 global football tournament for women with alternative ideas to help people and the planet to flourish in different aspects.

As the tournament comes to East Africa, top Ugandan female singer Lilian Mbabazi has been picked as part of the Ambassadors to spread awareness about the initiative.

On 8th March, there will be sports activities held at the KCCA Stadium in Lugogo as the former Blu*3 singer commences her duties as the initiative’s ambassador.

Part of her role will be to sensitize and create awareness about clean water and sanitation around the country. Mbabazi revealed the good news via her social media accounts.

It’s an honor to be chosen as a GLOBAL GOALS WORLD-CUP AMBASSADOR. My goal is to mainly focus on CLEAN WATER AND SANITATION for everyone. Join us on the 8th of March as we see how best we can achieve these goals.
